The FEI European Championships are held every two years. Over 300 of Europe’s top equestrian riders and drivers meet at the event to compete for medals in Jumping, Dressage, Driving and Para-Equestrian Dressage (Dressage for disabled riders). Competitors from around thirty countries, 590 horses, 4,000 accredited participants and 1000 volunteers will be involved in the event. In addition to the enthusiastic spectators at the event, 70 million people will watch the championships on TV. Championship titles will be awarded both to individual competitors and national teams in all disciplines.
Ullevi Stadium: Arena for Dressage and Jumping.
Heden Arena: Venue for Driving and Para-Equestrian Dressage. Heden will also be alive with shows, taster activities and exhibitions. Entry is free of charge all week.
Slottsskogen City Park and city centre: The driving marathon will pass through Gothenburg’s central streets and beautiful Slottsskogen City Park.
